I cannot quite believe that it has been 2 years since my last blog post. Work life and living for the weekends sort of took over. Long hours at work made it hard to find the time to create these little snippets into my life and design.
I also can’t quite believe that I had been on furlough from work since the beginning of May 2020 – then made redundant and now working for a different design house. It had been 5 months since I really got to get stuck into some interior design work. I missed it greatly and it is sooo great to be back.
During my furlough I did lots of small things… lots of puzzles completed, books read, tables sold and dinosaur bones made. Now my focus is switching to what is to come next.
I set myself some targets towards the end of furlough: Update the website. Get back into this old blogging thing – focus back onto the instagram… and find some local clients to help with their small home improvement projects.
We’re all spending a lot more time in our homes now… our sofa has officially got a groove where it has been used so much! It’s time to refresh those spaces that we’ve been putting off for the last few years; to knock down that wall, to lay that new carpet and re-tile that bathroom. It’s time to buy that new sofa, bed or TV. Get cosy and get creative. Remember, however, that you don’t need to do this alone, people like me are here to give you that little guidance or just do it all for you!
Check our packages pages out for more information on what services I am offering! If you don’t see what you’re looking for on there just drop me an email: [email protected] and I am sure we can work something out. Thanks for reading, BV
